About the HMH Memorial Scholarship

Helen Hogg, the inspiration behind the Helen Marie Hogg Memorial Scholarship

The HELEN MARIE HOGG (HMH) MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was established by Boss Hogg Foundation Founder, Brianna Hogg, to honor the life and legacy of her aunt, HELEN MARIE HOGG who, on July 12, 2021, was promoted to ANCESTOR after her battle with lupus.

Starting in 2024, a $1,000 the HMH Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to each of up to two promising female first-gen seniors at Brianna's high school alma mater, South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, TX, to assist with costs in attending the college of their choice.

The HELEN MARIE HOGG MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP award is an outright grant. Although recipients are under no obligation to make repayment, it is hoped that once graduated and engaged in a productive career they will help honor the memory of Helen by giving future students a similar financial opportunity.
